The faculty is specialized in organization and management; marketing; international business and entrepreneurship; finance and governance; economics; and political science.

The DBS faculty performs research within the research subject of Industrial Economics and Management (IEO) which is one of six research subjects at MDH. Today we are 4 professors, 6 associate professors (docents), 19 senior lecturers, 15 lecturers, 1 post docs and 9 active PhD-students. The research performed at the division is mainly externally funded and most PhD-candidates are part of the Swedish Graduate School “Management and IT” (MIT).

The area of Business administration is currently strengthening its position in both education and research. The group has a strong research competence in areas such as leadership; temporary organizing/projects; inter-organisational collaboration; the effects of digitalization on organisations etc.

MDH strives to be an inclusive workplace that promotes equal opportunities and attracts qualified candidates who can contribute to the MDH’s excellence and diversity
